Reading the Sports Section
All is right with the world today - Tyler was able to open his left eye enough to read the sports section for a short while - as today is a big day in football he'll be watching with his Dad. Tyler still needs lots of rest. Dan comes home to Calgary tonight and Shelley and Debbie are staying this week - each day is a little better than the one before. Tyler can now take sips of water and swallow which is an important step towards eating - right now Tyler is being fed via an IV. We all know how much Tyler loves food and I am sure he is looking forward to a nice big juicy steak washed down with a bud (or two!) as soon as possible! Visiting - check with Shelley and Debbie to see if Tyler is up for visitors however it would be better to wait until Tyler is a little farther down the road to recovery.

Thank you Tracey If you are talking to Dan tell him to keep breathing and to give Tyler greetings from Ron, Marlene and Matt. You guys(Dan, Tracey, Shelly and Debbie) take care of your selfs too.

As I am in calgary, and cannot get away from work, i was wondering if i could perhaps get an address for the hospital room that gat is currently in so i can send along some well wishes. I just got told about this from (Chris) Haywood and am glad to hear that tyler is coming along well.
if anyone gets the chance to visit him and pass along a message please let him know my thoughts are with him and that i hope he has a speedy recovery.
